Our History
It’s About Family.
For five generations, the Molitors have worked the land with a passion that stems from their heartfelt respect for the land, quality workmanship and the community they serve.
With roots in Dakota County, Minnesota, the existing Molitor business began with a partnership between Ray and Bernice Molitor in 1952. Eventually, their sons Eugene and Charlie became involved. Gene and his wife Rita joined the partnership in 1969; in 1979, Ray and Bernice retired and Charlie and his wife Patrice became partners with Gene and Rita.
Molitor Brothers Farm has expanded as the family has grown. Gene and Rita’s son Brian and his wife Heather joined the partnership in 1999, and Brian’s sister Sarah and her husband Eric came aboard in 2002. Gene passed away in 2003, but Rita continues to be an active partner.
Another generation of the Molitor farmers is on the way, providing a promising outlook for the future of family farms and family values.
